The Petworth Lawn Tennis Club Tournament Finals took place at the Club on Sunday 6th September 2020.

Peter Suart was victorious in the Mens singles final defeating Richard Blackburn 6-4, 6-1.

The Ladies singles trophy went to Sarah Wilford who beat Tessa Mills 6-2, 6-1.

Richard and Sally Blackburn won the Mixed Doubles. Their opponents, Jim and Alison Pindell, conceded the match at 6-4,3-0 due to injury.

In the Mens Doubles Richard Blackburn and Jim Pindell defeated Nick Williams and Rusty Gold 6-0, 6-1.

The ‘Match of the Day’ was the Ladies Doubles Final which was won by Sarah Wilford and Alison Pindell. They narrowly defeated the mother and daughter partnership of Judy and Elspeth Bird, 6-1, 2-6, 8-6. (Elspeth was a stand in for the injured Judy Hawkins).
